We are based at 73 Oceanview, Tinley Manor on the KwaZulu-Natal Dolphin Coast. We collect guests from Tinley Manor, Ballito, Salt Rock and surrounding areas — and can arrange pickups further afield on request.
Our core experiences are Big Five safaris to Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, wilderness and estuary trips to St Lucia and iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Drakensberg highland retreats, and Zulu cultural experiences. We also run half-day and full-day excursions to Dolphin Coast attractions — beaches, markets, restaurants and family venues.
Yes. If you simply need reliable door-to-door transport to an attraction, restaurant, casino or shopping centre, we do transfers too — with a local driver who knows the North Coast well.
We keep groups small — a maximum of six guests per vehicle. That means window seats for everyone, unhurried stops and a personal experience. Larger groups can be accommodated across multiple vehicles by arrangement.
Send an enquiry through our contact form, email info@sanbonanitours.co.za or call/WhatsApp +27 68 816 3622 with your dates and party size. We respond with a tailored itinerary within 48 hours. Booking at least a week ahead is recommended, especially in school holidays — but always ask, we often accommodate shorter notice.
Yes — a deposit secures your date, with the balance due before the tour. We will confirm the exact amounts and payment options in writing when we send your itinerary and quote.
Cancellations more than 14 days before the tour receive a full refund of the deposit. Between 7 and 14 days we refund 50%. Within 7 days the deposit is non-refundable, though we will always try to reschedule you first. Full details are on our Terms & Conditions page.
Tala Collection Game Reserve is completely malaria-free. The northern reserves (Hluhluwe-Imfolozi and iSimangaliso) are classified as low-risk malaria areas. Most visitors take no special precautions, but we recommend speaking to your doctor or travel clinic, especially for young children and pregnant travellers.
Absolutely — we are a family-friendly operator and many of our excursions (Flag Animal Farm, Crocodile Creek, uShaka Marine World) are designed with children in mind. Note that some game reserves set minimum ages for open-vehicle game drives; tell us your children’s ages and we will plan around them.
Comfortable neutral-coloured clothing, a warm layer for early mornings, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, binoculars and a camera. We provide the rest — including the local knowledge that makes the difference.
